Nutrigenomics information session . This week. Register now.
Learn about my Nutrigenomic service for those interested in using nutrition to support genetic predispositions.
Have you been considering Nutrigenomics or looking at your genetics for clues for health answers? What is Nutrigenomics. It is an analysis of our individual DNA for rare but actionable Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP’s) or variants that are genetic function.
This is not the same a genetic screening which is looking for potential birth defects or genetic disease that we are born with.
But rather testing genes for underfunction and risk of development of disease.
This information can be helpful to prevent disease or delay disease from fully manifesting through nutrition and lifestyle.
Also helpful if a health puzzle is not responding to standard recommendations; learning about the underlying biochemical genetic deficiencies can be helpful in connecting some dots.
For the last 3 years I have been an Intellxxdna authorized provider and I want to share how it fits within my practice and how it may benefit those who are looking to address and prevent memory loss and cognitive decline, adhd, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity/autism, cardiovascular health, and more. Nutrigenomics is sometimes is the first place we look for answers and other times its later in the process. Regardless , nutrigenomics; meaning addressing genetic polymorphisms through nutrition interventions, is here to stay . We all should at some point learn our own DNA.
Before Intellxxdna I was browsing through raw 23andMe data trying to make sense and conclusions. I also became trained in Opus23 which was and is very insightful. But it wasn’t until Intellxxdna did I fully understand how to most appropriately use this information.
IntellxxDNA looks at rare polymorphisms that have some evidence and actionable steps. Rather then polymorphisms that the general public has and may less significant.
The discussion will include background on Nutrigenomics, Information on some of the testing that is available, discussion on Intellxxdna, a case study, and Q&A. Space is limited to 15 people.
