Protocol for Theoretical viral Prevention and Treatment: A Comprehensive Guide
Disclaimer: This protocol is not peer-reviewed, proven against SARS-CoV-2, or validated in clinical trials. It is based on theoretical research and strategies used in managing other viral illnesses such as influenza and other coronaviruses. This guide should not replace professional medical advice.
I draft something like this every year since 2009…yes viruses were around back then…I know Snarky. But its true.
So here we go…
Basic Prevention Strategies
Physical Distancing and PPE:
Maintain physical distancing from someone in the early stages of a virus is a great prevention strategy.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as N95 masks, which protect against aerosol transmission if you have symptoms or are being exposed. This is still controversial but is especially important to respect if someone wants to use a mask for protection and if they are immunosuppressed.
Regular handwashing and disinfection. Best prevention strategy!
Daily Health Monitoring:
Smell test using an alcohol swab and use of smell tracker.
Regular temperature checks.
Daily pulse oximeter readings to monitor oxygen levels.
Lifestyle Adjustments:
Sleep 8-10 hours to enhance immune function.
Daily nasal lavage and maintaining moist mucus membranes.
Use of saunas or brisk exercise to raise body temperature and boost immune cells.
Practice meditation to maintain vagal tone and heart rate variability.
Dietary Recommendations
General Diet:
Follow a whole-foods Mediterranean-style diet.
Avoid sugars, processed foods, and alcohol.
Ensure adequate daily caloric intake and avoid prolonged fasting.
Drink 2-3 liters of water daily, consume bone broths, and include fermented foods for gut health.
Functional Foods: eat lots of these.
Ginger Tea: Known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
Garlic and Onions: Both contain compounds that may have antiviral effects.
Carrots and Broccoli Sprouts: Rich in vitamins and sulforaphane, which support detoxification.
Mushrooms: Such as Reishi, Maitake, or Chaga, which enhance immune function.
Prevention Supplementation Protocol
Ivermectin: Discuss with a healthcare provider. this is controversial but can be helpful
Vitamin C (Liposomal): 500mg-1000mg daily; an antioxidant that supports the immune system.
Zinc (Various Forms): 50mg daily; helps inhibit viral replication.
Licorice Root: 1000mg daily; may prevent virus adhesion, but monitor blood pressure.
Vitamin D3 (Liposomal): 1000 IU daily; supports immune regulation.
Melatonin: 3-6mg per day; acts as an antioxidant and supports the immune system. Discuss with your provider if this appropriate for you.
Astragalus: 1000mg daily; has antiviral properties.
Beta-glucan: 500mg-750mg daily; stimulates immune cells.
Vitamin A: 10,000 IU daily; supports immune function.
NAC (N-acetyl cysteine): 500-1000mg daily; an antioxidant that supports immune function.
Reishi or Other Medicinal Mushrooms: 500mg-2000mg daily; support immune health.
Transfer Factor: 500mg-750mg daily; enhances NK cell activity.
I have put this all in a protocol over at Fullscript here :
Active Treatment (Onset of Symptoms):
Ivermectin: Consult with a healthcare provider to discuss a compounded prescription.
NAC : keep an extra bottle on hand of 600mg capsules this may need to be escalated.
Vitamin C (Liposomal): 3000mg-4000mg daily to bowel tolerance
Quercetin: 1000mg twice per day; supports lung health.
Glutathione (Liposomal): 1000mg-2000mg daily;
Turmeric (Meriva): 2000mg daily; anti-inflammatory properties.
Melatonin: 3mg at bedtime.
With nasal congestion SC-nasal spray
Home Supplies to Keep on Hand
Hand Sanitizer: 2/3 cup of 91% alcohol, ¼ aloe vera gel, and 2 drops of lavender oil.
Antiseptic Spray/Infuser: 91% alcohol, Sovereign Silver Bioactive Silver Hydrosol, and tea tree oil.
Home Nebulizer and Nasoneb: For respiratory treatments. can really come in handy!
Addressing Comorbidities
Since many severe viruses cases involve underlying health conditions, it is essential to manage:
Seasonal allergies.
Co-infections.
Hypertension.
Blood sugar levels.
Asthma or other lung diseases.
Sleep disorders.
Proposed Mechanisms of Treatment
This protocol offers a theoretical approach to supporting the immune system and managing viral symptoms using lifestyle changes, diet, and supplementation. It is vital to consult healthcare professionals before beginning any new treatment.
Let’s all stay healthy and show these viruses we’ve learned a thing or two!
