The Anti-Inflammatory Solution Appearance
Why I decided to join .
If you’ve been in my world for a while, you’ve probably noticed I’m careful about what I lend my name to. I get invited into summits, webinars, docuseries, and expert panels pretty regularly, and I turn many of them down.
I said yes to The Anti-Inflammatory Solution, a docuseries from Sarah Otto and the Goodness Lover team that’s coming out May 25, 2026 . I want to tell you why I said yes — and just as importantly, what I hope you take from it, and what I hope you don’t.
Why I said yes
Sarah’s own story — feeling trapped in a body that seemed to be working against her — is the story I sit across from in my office almost every week. She’s not selling a protocol. She’s tracing a question that the people I work with have been asking for years: why does my body keep doing this, and is anything ever going to change?
The conversation I got to have on the series was about vagus nerve and its role in inflammation regulation, the role of inflammation in aging, and impact of inflammation on Mitochondria. I also discussed come botanicals that can help with modulating neuroinflammation .
What I hope you take from it
The systems view. Inflammation isn’t a villain to defeat — it’s a signal inside a loop. When you understand the loop, you stop fighting your body and start listening to it. Several of the experts in the series get to that frame in their own way. Watch for those moments.
What I hope you don’t take from it
That you’re behind. That your body is silently destroying itself. That the answer is another list of 24 foods. That you need 38 experts to be safe in your own body.
Some of the marketing around series like these leans heavily on urgency and fear.
I’d rather you skip it entirely than walk away more anxious than you started.
If you notice yourself tightening up while watching, that’s data — pause, breathe, come back to what you already know about your body.
One question for you?
If you’ve watched a health docuseries before — what actually helped you afterward, and what made things worse?
—Dr. Rinde
