Enjoy part 1 of the presentation I gave for ARG this past summer. I cover SIBO, Methane Overgrowth, Fungal Overgrowth, and Hydrogen Sulfide Overgrowth and more.
Its unfortunate that there is not more organization around video production. Meaning, for those who seek more recent or advancd information - it's hit or miss. Instead of ARG asking you to do yet another introductory viideo on SIBO, why not pick a subtopic or a domain that you specialize in, for example bile? ARG must know that there are hundreds of introductory videos on sibo and a flood of information which echoes throughout industry.
In responise to Part 2 -- I'm interested. Consider adding a table or paragraph which indicates what the video wil cover - that will help.
Great Feedback. Do we know each other? What is your expertise?
I do like your ideas. I spent over 40 hours on this presentation and reviewed over (60) 2022 to current full papers on the topic to provide up to date info. It would be much easier than do narrow topics like you mentioned.
Adam, am glad that these thoughts were taken in a positive light. From the video it was clear that you had notes, that you were prepared and that your finest effort was given. This throughline distinguishes your online productions from others who merely echo. My comments come from this appreciation.
Do not believe that we know each other, unless by accident in a seminar or conference but not likely. My expertise lay in a few pots, 1.) Alternative medicine from childhood (1950's), 2.) BS: engineering, minors art, business and sociology 3.) Entrepreneurship and venture capital, 4.) Corporate management, 5.) Economic and regional development, 5.) Sibo/ dysbiosis; 40 hours professional training and few thousand hours or so of self education and 6.) Alt med industry (at board, committee and friend level).
Ok.. cool..well nice to meet you. .My first presentation on SIBO was oin 2011 while I was an attending clinical physician at the Bastyr Center For Natural Health . I look back at the presentation which was way before the industry around sibo became what it was. That presentation pales in comparison
Your early interest in sibo is what initially drew interest in your thoughts. Eleven years prior (2000), my issues began. The online landscape was relatively barren; though there were a few; Buhner, Brent Davis, Fasano, Ostrov, Pimentel, come to mind. Hard to imagine the lives of earlier patients who suffered in silence.
